i am wet
in my own waters
i am drenched
by my own rains

my petals sodden
with my own dewing
i'm a river
nourished by its own streams
i am saturated
in my affections
satiatied
by my own love
i find baptism
in my own fire
i'm deeply warmed
by my own flame
what could there be
of greater pleasure
than artesian wells
flowing from within
in my own waters
i am drenched
by my own rains

my petals sodden
with my own dewing
i'm a river
nourished by its own streams
i am saturated
in my affections
satiatied
by my own love
i find baptism
in my own fire
i'm deeply warmed
by my own flame
what could there be
of greater pleasure
than artesian wells
flowing from within

I love these lines:
i fnd baptism/ in my own fire
simply beautiful :)
fire creates another, a multiply into more fire
fueling from the emotion within...
I am so happy to have found your site. Your writings are wonderful. I have just subscribed.
Love this.
Ah! :)
O Yes!!
Wonderful poem & word choices!
This one here is simply delicious...even if you chosen to use "wet" all by itself
